There could be thousand of denim styles today; however, classic and vintage are always on top of the choices.

Trendy or classic? This is something I ask myself everyday! Even though I'm constantly looking for new styling ways I always feel attracted to the past and how different garments from different decades could be mixed for a new look. In this case I'm going to talk specifically about denim.
“Denim has always been an everyday symbol of style” Ritu Kumar.
Let's dig into fashion history! The fabric denim was created more than a century ago!The first time the fabric denim was registered was prior to the 19th century. On the 20th century many workers from construction, mining and other hard works used to complain about the quality of their clothes; in fact, most of their clothes would get ripped very easy. It was then when denim pants came to the rescue and were used for all types of jobs. They became so popular throughout the 20th century that became an iconic and essential garment of everyone's closet.

Why vintage?
It's all a matter of style. The classic indigo color of the denim has been a trend since the beginning of denim history. This garment was styled in so many different ways in the 20th century that everyone tries to achieve the same style. In my case as a fashion history lover I always try to imagine the history behind every single piece of clothe.

I love combining different styles from different decades to achieve the look I want and make it trendy. Denim is not exception and that's the beauty of it. The color, shape and cut of the vintage denim would make any outfit look classic and as I've mentioned before: classic is never out of fashion.
I love feeling the vibe of different decades mixing into nowadays. What I like the most about vintage blue jeans is the fact that I style them with graphic tees, blouses, sweaters, heels, sneakers and pretty much everything. Isn't it the best? Every time you style this garment you're creating a history and that history will be continue to be part of the future.
